We first opened our nonprofit in November 2013 under the name Christmas help for needy families. Since then we have helped ove 500 families in Hartford  have a great christmas. We are now operating under the name Hartford Lending Hands but not forgetting where we started. My husband and I had an idea that we brought to life  and it was not as hard as we thought it would be. Hartford Lending Hands mission is to bring  food, shelter, and support groups for families in needed ares in Hartford. Give us a chance to bring the light back to hartford we matter here and we know it.
